Krieghoff is perhaps Germany's best, and most expensive, gun manufacturer. Here is an opportunity to own a Sempert & Krieghoff drilling at an affordable price. This drilling is chambered in the desirable combination of 16 gauge over 7x57R, which is widely available in the USA and easy to reload. The action is tight, and the gun functions perfectly. The rear sight is pop-up activated by a button on the top tang barrel selector. The front trigger is "set" to a hair trigger by pushing it forward until it clicks. The chambers measure 2 3/4" and the LOP to the front trigger is about 14 1/2". The original length barrels are a little over 21 1/2", which I believe is the shortest version they offered--basically a German close-range brush gun. Shotgun bores and rifle rifling are bright and shiny, with no rust or damage observed. The barrels are marked Sempert & Krieghoff of Suhl. The date code on the barrels indicates an October 1932 manufacture date. The trigger guard is buffalo horn and a crack was repaired with black epoxy. It is now soild and firmly attached to the frame. The stocks show some compressions, gouges, etc., under an old refinish, as shown in the pics. This gun is a good solid "shooter" and priced accordingly. Feel free to ask questions.
