New Addition Monthly Special Ruger Mini-14 .223 Rifle C. 1976
Offered here for sale is a classic from the home of the Ruger Collectors Association right here in Southport, CT. This is a Ruger Mini-14 .223 caliber rifle which we have just acquired just steps away from the original Ruger plant here in Southport, CT. Serial number 180-30578 this Ruger Mini?14 is from the original 180?series, which were produced early in the lineup. This rifle’s number, 180?30578, slots into that 1976 production year, since it sits between 180?28282 (start of 1976) and 180?59251 (start of 1977). Originally
the rifle had a blade front sight was produced at Ruger’s Southport factory right here before production shifted to Newport, NH. These early Mini?14s are viewed as collectible, particularly for their historical value and unique early design characteristics . It’s mostly all-original, except for the added flash hider. A blade sight that was once affixed on the hider was removed—though it could be re?installed in the future. If the buyer wishes us to do so we will have our gunsmith perform it. There is also some wear to barrel (appears rubbed/scraped not from wear). But we have left it “as is” and we can touch up upon request.
As we have just added over 100 new collectibles this week we do not have time to rectify it at this moment but we can discuss with new buyer. A fine early Ruger Mini-14.
