This Smith & Wesson Model 27-9 revolver is a beautifully preserved example of one of S&W’s most iconic .357 Magnums. Built with a six-round cylinder and a 4" barrel, it features adjustable rear sights paired with a blade front sight for precise target acquisition. The revolver wears checkered rosewood grip panels with smooth borders and gold S&W medallions, offering both elegance and secure handling.
Condition is excellent overall. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, the action cycles smoothly, the cylinder locks up properly in-time, the trigger breaks crisply, and the hammer is strong. The revolver retains approximately 99% of its original deep blued finish, showing minimal signs of handling.
This is a very desirable revolver, combining the classic N-frame .357 Magnum performance with superb aesthetics in its rosewood grips and high-polish finish. A fine piece for collectors and shooters alike, ready for both display and the range.
