Chinese Mauser C96 Broomhandle 9mm Pistol
Semi-Automatic pistol with detachable magazine.
MARKINGS: The right side of frame has a bow and arrow within a cog, The left side of frame has Chinese script and a Yin-Yang symbol (Chinese Ordnance Department). The left side of the barrel extension is marked “46105", The back of the pistol between the grips is marked “CHINA". Front of the grip between the panels is marked \"BTC El Monte, CA\". The top of the barrel flat is marked “9mm". The safety is marked “F" & “S". Under the left side grip is marked “46105". And the bottom of the detachable magazine is marked “46105".
Barrel is 5.5\", Front sight is a blade fixed by the muzzle. The rear sight is a tangent leaf marked to 1000 meters. The grips are serrated wood. There is a lanyard ring fixed to the butt-strap. The panels and grip serrations remain well defined. Overall the grip panels are in very good condition. The pistol retains about 95% of its finish, The markings are clear, screwheads are tooled with strong slots, Overall the pistol is in excellent condition.
