This is a rare 16 gauge Husqvarna model 51 hammer gun, as made in Sweden, prior to 1970…The 29 ½" barrels are choked full and full. 2 5/8" chambers, with excellent bores…Tight action, with double under lugs and Greener cross bolt…Action locks up tight…Fine back action lock works make for a strong, reliable gun…14 ¼" length of pull over steel butt plate, with drops of 2 and 3 inches…Weighs 7 pounds, 5 ounces… Overall fine condition with no issues…A classic Swedish made hunting gun that works well over here too…
Gunsmith advises barrel walls in front of chambers contain plenty of metal to safely lengthen chambers to 2 ¾", if desired…Or, you may choose to shoot 2 1/2" shells, as made by the RST Co.
