Description:
For sale is a Winchester Early 3rd Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine chambered in .44-40 Winchester. It features a blue finish, 17" barrel with carbine sights, half magazine and straight stock with carbine buttplate. The bluing is in excellent condition being nice & dark. There is plenty of case coloring on the hammer, lever and buttplate. Mechanically, everything is in order along with the bore being bright & shiny. The stocks fit tight to the frame with no breaks, checks or deep scratches present. The carbine was received in the warehoulse on June 19, 1882 and shipped June 20, 1882. A letter will accompany this carbine and more photos are available upon request.
