The Springfield Model 1903 is a legendary U.S. military bolt-action rifle, chambered in .30-06 Springfield and adopted in the early 20th century. It remains a highly collectible piece of American military history and a capable hunting rifle when outfitted with optics.
This particular example, serial number 826793, was produced at Springfield Armory in 1918, during the latter part of World War I. It features checkered wood with scratches consistent with use and bluing wear on the barrel. The rifle is equipped with a Redfield bar for scope mounting and comes fitted with a Sun Optics 10-40x50 scope. The action functions smoothly and locks up tightly.
