The Remington Models 14 and 141 were introduced to compete with the Winchester 94, without direct confrontation of the market hold the lever action .30-30 had on the hunting market. John Pedersen was tasked with the development and came up with the Model 14, chambered in 4 proprietary Remington cartridges. The Model 141 was the last in the series leading to the Remington Model 760. This one is a nice one showing only general wear and no abuse. It has nice walnut takedown stock, good metal, and a very nice bore. .35 Remington
