Description:
"Serial No. 4911, circa 1940's, 8mm, 24"" round barrel. Bore is good with light frosting visible in the grooves, rifling remains strong. Barrel and receiver are an even gun metal finish. Left side of the barrel is marked with ""4911-SS/ Deaths head/Deaths head"" Receiver has Imperial markings and been seen on both sides with ""GEW 98"" stamped noted on the left side flat. Top of the receiver is unmarked. Serial numbers are matching except for bolt and lower band. Stock is in very good condition with cartouches visible below the stock disk. Action is smooth and functions correctly. This is a genuine Waffen SS rifle and originals are getting harder and harder to get! ConsignmentÂ
