A hard to find 1942 Mauser P-38 pistol, BYF 42 with correct 1942 holster and two correct magazines. The gun shows normal war wear with no real detractors or issues, and is correct with matching numbers. Bore is in VG condition with strong rifling. Mauser started to make the P-38s late in 1942 and this is one, number 9381 is one of the ealier guns from the first lot of 10,000. No import stamps. The holster is a correct 1942 hard shell P-38 holster by Carl Weiss of Braunschweig, and is in very good conition with soft leather, tight stitching and no rips. Holster is Vet marked. A hard to find rig.
