Description:
This is an outstanding condition. The gun is all matching with the exception of the cleaning rod, which is the correct type and has been in the gun for a very long time. Fine mechanical function. Excellent bore with sharp rifling. JUN 1894 stock cartouche. 1894 date on the right side of the barrel. Wood is fine with some light dings and handling marks. No import marks. Retains 85% original finish overall with some very minor surface rust here and there. This would not only be a hard gun to find in the first place, but a very difficult gun to upgrade. Made at St Etienne arsenal. Serial number is G4888
