Payment Types Accepted: Description: The Remington 870 has been one of America's most iconic hunting shotguns of all time. The classic pump-action, available in dozens of configurations between barrel lengths, finishes, and calibers, has felled countless birds as well as taken large game across the country for decades since its introduction—not to mention its use within law enforcement and military appications as well as its popularity at the target stands. The Remington 870's rugged reliability stems from its dual action rods and steel receiver. The bolt design is simple with few moving parts and an easy disassembly, the gun can be maintained quite easily, keeping the gun operational for many years and hunts to come. This shotgun for sale is an 870 Wingmaster chambered in 16 gauge built in May of 1984 (per barrel date code of 'KE'). The barrel measures 28" long and can accept 2 ¾" shells and has a simple silver bead front sight with no rib and a fixed full choke. The blued receiver has grooves cut into the top but is not drilled and tapped for a scope rail. The tubular magazine holds up to 4 shells within. The shotgun is dressed with an oil-finished plain pistol grip stock and a gloss beavertail forend with grooved texturing. The stock has an added rubber vented Western Field buttpad attached. The trigger on this shotgun has serrated texturing on the trigger face and a very crisp break. The finish condition on this shotgun is overall pretty good. There is some light finish pitting on the left side of the receiver and barrel, and finish wear at the loading gate and on the magazine tube. The stock and forend have some dings as well in the finish, but the shotgun as a whole does not have any major damage and no signs of anything being repaired previously. The barrel is also in good condition, on the inside, though there is a small ring of surface rust right inside the muzzle. This shotgun does not include a box or case. 16 Gauge Price: $699.99 Barrels: 28 Weight: 6 lbs 11 oz Item Location: Kearney, NE |
