"NSN, circa 1836,.69 caliber, 42"" round barrel. Barrel and lock plate are a smooth brown patina. Lock plate is marked with ""EAGLE motif/ U.S."" Rear is marked ""SPRING/FIELD/1836"". Stock has expected nicks, dings and scratches. Musket was converted from flintlock to percussion, many of these muskets saw action during the start of the civil war. Action holds at half and full cock.
