Description:
This custom .62 caliber Jaeger style rifle has a browned straight octagon 30-3/4” x 1” Oregon Barrel Co barrel with 1:66 twist that is fitted with a globe post front sight and a custom rear tang peep sight. Inscribed on the top flat is Doc Crawford 20113 and on the left side flat 62 cal Rauch und Donner – translated as Smoke and Thunder. The bore is very good with deep rifling. The P+ grade Maple full stock is mounted with brass furniture, including a large custom formed Jaeger style horn trigger guard. A large RE Davis Jaeger style lock which has been converted to percussion ignition is activated by RE Davis double set Jaeger style triggers. Includes a Hickory ramrod has been “candy striped”. Length of pull is 13-3/4”. Overall Length is 47”, weight is 8.8 lbs. Good wood to metal fit. Made by Doc Crawford – Oregon.
