Ithaca Model 37 - Featherweight - 16 Ga. Pump Shotgun Hammerless Takedown - Checkered pistol grip style stock and groove forend with buttt plate. 26 In. long barrel with 5- position Poly Grip adjustable choke with brass bead sight. 4-round tubular magazine. Bore is clean and bright . Barrel and receiver are retaining 90% bluing. Stock and forend are in very good conition with minimal handling marks. Internal parts are in very good condition with smooth crisp action. Includes a new soft sleeve. The model 37 Ithaca was an adaptation of the John Browning design of the earlier Remington Model 17. Known for it's light weight and bottom load/ eject feature. The 16 Ga. production was less than the 12ga. and are now somewhat scarce. Manufactured from 1937 to 1984. This one was manufactured in 1949. Nice addition to any collection.
