"Serial No. 4761686, made in 1953, .30-06, 24" round barrel marked “HRA-D6535448 5-54 RS32". Barrel features the Defense Ordnance Department (DOD) eagle stamp at the rear sight base. Parts are correctly marked “HRA," and the operating rod is of the cut variety, appropriate for this production period. Stock is in very good condition, showing expected handling and usage wear from service, with a faint DOD cartouche still visible. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A fine post-war example from H&R’s Korean War-era production run, correct in both parts and configuration.
