"Serial No. B3076, made in 1892, 7.65x53mm, 29 ¼" round barrel. Manufactured by Loewe of Berlin as part of the early contract production for the Argentine military. Serial numbers are matching throughout, indicating the rifle has remained in original configuration. The Argentine crest has been removed from the receiver. Metal has been refinished, showing a uniform appearance over the receiver and barrel. Stock is in very good condition, with light handling marks visible but no major cracks or repairs. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A solid example of a pre-1898 South American contract Mauser. Rifle sold as collectible only not to be fired.
