Description:
In 1908 the Portuguese Army officially adopted and purchased 5,000 Luger pistols, designated m/908, with 120mm barrels and "M2" crests. They were designated m/908, and numbered from 1 to 5000. This example is stamped 4514 over h over + (spare mag) on the wood base. The magazine is in very good condition with a good deal of the finish, light oxidation and clearly stamped at the base "10" in a circle "KK over 4" in a circle and a revere "R". The inside of the magazine is gummed up with what looks like preservative and will need a good cleaning. The wooden base shows some old chip but I don't see a crack.;
