Gentlemen, for sale is a Lefever Nitro Special, 16-gauge double barrel shotgun. The gun was made in 1927 by the Ithaca Gun Co, in Ithaca, NY. This gun has been lightly used and has been in my collection for many years. I have many of the Lefever’s but never had one with this much case color, probably 50 to 65 percent. Specifications are as follows: 28-inch barrels, fixed Modified and Full chokes, original crescent butt plate, double triggers, extractors, great case colors, nice walnut stock, excellent bluing, and 14 LOP. The weight of the gun is only 6lbs 12ozs. It is a great piece to carry in the field all day. The 16 gauge with a 28” bbls. is a nice combination that can be used for upland birds or just casual range or open field shooting. This gun is 98 years old and in great condition.
