Description:
Starr Arms Co. double-action 1858 Army revolver, produced 1862–1863, converted from percussion to 5-shot .45 cal. metallic cartridge after the Civil War, serial no. 7313. Re-blued at some point. Overall in Very Good condition, including bore. Action is tight and totally functional. Markings are fairly sharp. 23,000 were produced, used mainly in the Western Theater of the War. The Starr Army was also featured in the film “Unforgiven”. It was one of the earliest double-action revolvers.
