Russian Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant Rifle in fine antique condition, This rifle is dated 1896 and is therefore classified as an antique rifle and can be shipped USPS. This rifle has over 90% arsenel blue from a Finish Arsenal rebuild. It has the typical SA mark on the left side of the original 1896 dated barrel indicating it went through a Finish rebuild program before the Finnisn/Russian Winter War. The barrel muzzle has the typical counter bore at the muzzle which was done during the Finish Arsenal rebuild. The bore has strong rifling but is dark. It does maintain a good group at 100 yards using surplus ammunition. The stock has no splices or repairs and has very few dings. See photos. The bolt serial number and barrel serial number match as refurbished at the Finish Arsenal. The receiver and barrel have some great original Russian markings as shown in the photos. The rifle feeds and functions as it should and I fired it about 35 years ago.
