Stunning, virtually new, Colt Official Police revolver in .38 Special made 1956 with 4" barrel, checkered wood grips with silver medallions, complete with original factory box and accessories.

Description:

Standard configuration Colt Official Police Revolver chambered in .38 Special with 4” barrel having fixed sights. Left side of barrel marked with model/caliber. Rampant Colt on left sideplate. Right side of barrel marked Colt address. Full serial number on left side of frame , crane, and inked on bottom of box. Fitted with wood checkered grips having silvered Colt medallions. Complete with original matching faux wood Colt shipping box and paper wrapped cleaning brush.

Condition:

Presents as virtually new. Virtually no wear on any of the blued components. No cylinder ring, nor are there any cartridge case imprints on the recoil shield. Grips are slightly darkened from handling but checkering remains crisp. Mirror bore. VG/EXC box with shelf scuffing but no noticeable repairs. A wonderful Colt Police Positive revolver with 4'' barrel and fixed sights from 1956, in its original box, that would be extremely difficult to upgrade!
