Description:
Winchester Model 1876 Lever Action Rifle 40-60 cal Bore near Exc bright shiny with strong rifling. Mech Exc tight action, Wood is original near Exc condition and tight fit to metal. Has an original 28” oct barrel with original sights ,rear sight is the long range sight with 1876 marking and VG address and cal markings. The receiver has an original dust cover and marked Model 1876 on the top tang with the lower tang having the serial#63530 Mfg’d 1888 also the brass carrier has an excellent 40-60 caliber marking. Metal overall has a fading original blue finish stronger in protected areas and also has some traces of fine pitting mainly on the mag tube. A very fine 76 winchester rifle with original finish, great bore and mechanics.
