"Serial number C53453. Made in 1871. 40-70 bottle neck caliber with a 30" barrel. This gun has an even brown patina. The barrel has no markings and there is no serial number under the forearm. The forearm is definitely original though. This gun was shipped to Carlos Gove in Denver, Colorado, so it is possible this was a Gove replacement. It certainly appears to be together since the time of use. Wood is very good overall. This gun comes with a factory letter.
