NEAR NEW CONDITION POCKET POSITIVE .32 POLICE CTG. (.32 S&W LONG), WITH RARE 2 ½” BARREL, COLT FACTORY LETTER, #157XXX, SHIPPED DURING THE GREAT DEPRESSION IN 1938. These early “snubbies” usually show heavy carry wear. They were made in barrel lengths up to 6” with the short 2 ½” fairly scarce and desirable. This one shows no use or carry wear. You’d have to look minutely to see any blue wear. The front of the cylinder retains all the blue indicating this one was never shot. The included Colt Factory Letter verifies the caliber, barrel length etc. and shows it was a one gun shipment to Kelly-How-Thomston Company, Duluth, Minnesota on January 3, 1938. This superb revolver just needs a box!
