The Frontier Scout "Duo Tone" revolver started in 1958 and this one dates to that first year. The Aluminum frame was a new deal for guns and the FS was left "in the raw" with barrel, cylinder, hammer, and trigger blued almost black, reminiscent of the Colt Python. It is a striking piece, retaining the balance and feel of the original Single Action Army. .22 Long Rifle
