"Serial number 1550. Made circa 1860s. 44 caliber with a 5 ¾" barrel. This gun is in excellent condition and untouched. These guns were finished in the white and this gun has tarnished to a gray patina. Most of these times these guns were continuously cleaned, but this one was left untouched. The “engraving is actually acid etching and hand chased. This gun comes in its factory case with the L. Perrin embossed gold marking. Case is excellent
