The Model 70 dates back to the mid-30s with a YOM of 1950, putting it in the modern era of rifles. It is chambered in .270 WCF, early designation for the cartridge now known as .270 Winchester. The rifle is in good condition overall. There is a bit of rust and a few stock dings. This is a hunting rifle at heart, and should serve in that role for many years. .270 Winchester
