The Model 1895 is the Marlin equivalent to the Winchester 1886. It is a beefed-up version of the 336 and has the side ejection that makes mounting a scope easy. Chambered in heavy calibers, it is intended to hunt dangerous game in heavy cover. This one is in very good condition. It doesn't show much evidence of shooting. Sights are intact and is ready for your choice of scope. .45-70 Government
