Description:
For your consideration is a Browning BAR High Power rifle chambered for 7mm Remington Magnum. It was made in 1990 in Belgium (FN Herstal) and assembled in Portugal. This is a Type 2, not to be confused with a Mark II (introduced in 1993). The primary difference was the Type 2 had a forged steel receiver, the later models were aluminum. Included are two magazines and a Browning-marked Leupold scope base. This rifle has no sights, which became an option in 1988.

Receiver/barrel original finish is excellent, the markings are sharp. Screws are unmolested.

Stocks exhibit very fine finish, checkering, and walnut grain. There are a couple of insignificant handling marks near the toe of the butt stock.

The bore is immaculate, mirror bright with sharp rifling.

Mechanically excellent with smooth, tight action and crisp trigger. This rifle appears to have been seldom fired.

Overall, a very nice Browning BAR in a desirable caliber for your hunting pleasure.

Core Features:
•      Gas-Operated Action
Smooth cycling with reduced recoil thanks to a gas piston system and a seven-lug rotating bolt that locks directly into the barrel.
•      Forged Steel Receiver
For better accuracy and durability.
•      Detachable Box Magazine
Mounted to a hinged floorplate for quick reloads—no need to fumble with internal magazines.
•      Inflex Recoil Pad
Designed to direct recoil away from the shooter’s cheek for added comfort.
•      Precision Machining
Tight breech-to-chamber fit and vibration-reducing inertia block contribute to bolt-action-like accuracy.

Ships well-packaged for $50, additional to AK and HI.
