Up for sale is a factory-original, unfired Browning Auto-5 semi-automatic shotgun, chambered in 12 gauge, manufactured in Belgium by FN and brought home in 1950 by a U.S. Army officer stationed at Nurnberg Military Post.

• Unfired condition – still preserved in original factory grease • Serial #291822 – matching on receiver, barrel, forend, and box
• Original factory box with matching hand-written serial number • Original EC Form 11 (Provost Marshal Firearm Authorization) dated June 22, 1950, allowing U.S. Army Capt. James E. Shelton to bring this shotgun home from Germany

Historical Significance:
- This shotgun was officially registered as a war bring-back firearm by Captain James E. Shelton, United States Army, while stationed at the Nurnberg Military Post, Germany.
- It was approved for retention and shipment to the United States on June 22, 1950, under the authority of the European Command Provost Marshal, documented on EC Form 11, which accompanies the firearm.
- The shotgun is accompanied by its original cardboard factory box bearing a handwritten matching serial number (291822) and remains in unfired condition, still coated in its original factory grease.
