Born in Croatia as the HS2000 and refined for the U.S. market by Springfield Armory, the XD-9 pairs modern striker-fired speed with a 1911-style grip safety, giving shooters the best of two proven worlds. A hammer-forged 4\" barrel, nitrided slide and barrel, full-size grip, and ambidextrous controls make this particular pistol a practical performer and a collectible snapshot of the XD’s earliest American iterations.

A bilateral push-button magazine release caters to either hand, while the pivoting trigger safety, internal striker block, and tactile loaded-chamber indicator provide redundant, unobtrusive safeguards.
