LWRC International SMG-45 Pistol – 45 ACP – 8.5" Barrel – Side-Folder – EOTech Red Dot
LWRC doesn’t make the SMG-45 any longer but we sure wish that they did. This is a very nice, higher end pistol that both looks and feels great. Our consignment pistol that we have here (serial #: 4AM02532) is in fantastic condition and it’s equipped with some nice options that you won’t see on some of the other SMG-45 pistols.
We’ll stress again that this is a pistol, not a rifle or SBR and we’re glad that we’re finally past the nonsense around pistol braces. They’re legal and that discussion is in the past. This brace is also a side folder, giving you lots of options on how you want to use it.
Some of the other features on this model include the user-configurable rail system, the rail panels and the hand stop under the muzzle. The grip is a LWRC Ultra Combat Grip with storage inside the grip. A Magpul MBUS Pro flip up sight is at the forward end of the picatinny rail. The charging handle, bolt catch and safety selector are all fully ambidextrous.
This pistol just feels different in your hands. It’s solid, sturdy and should be an excellent platform for the 45 ACP ammo.
The owner has an EOTech red dot mounted on the pistol and that’s a tremendous addition to the package. If you’ve looked at EOTech optics, you already know that you’d spend around $600 to purchase this dot. We’ve tested the dot and the controls function normally. The glass is clear and the dot operates as it should. That’s a great choice of optics for this pistol.
The pistol is in Excellent condition and the internals are fresh from an ultrasonic cleaning that we performed after the pistol came into the shop. The bore is very clean and the barrel is super bright. The metal is in Excellent condition with the exception of one small scratch on the right side, just forward of the hinge for the folding brace.
If you’re looking for a high-end, fun-to-shoot platform with a high-end quality optic, this may be exactly what you were after.

This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test fired this pistol. We have performed our function checks and find no issues to report.
