For sale is this USED no doubt about it, but solid - approved by Gunsmith at the gun store I work at. First year prodction of the New Model Blackhawk S/N 46-09189 - 1974 - chambered in .45 LC with a 4-5/8' barrel.The unique thing about this particular revolver is that supposedly there were no New models shipped from the factory with the MR-3DB Brass grip frames and trigger guards. I have contacted Ruger and inquired if a small amount of the first runs were shipped out with what was left of the MR-3DB frames - waiting to hear back and possibly get a letter of verification. Have gotten different opinions but the fact is Factory shipped or not the MR-3DB grip frame and trigger guard alone is going for $500 and up and the MR-3DB fit perfect. The gun has someones name engraved on the butt and on the frame "Chris Devine" - have researched his name and came up with nothing. it shows holster wear and good old normal use. It is currently in a Civil War era leather holster i purchased seperately for it. fits like a glove. If you want the holster let me know, if not will be glad to keep this piece of history. The price I am asking is for the GUN ONLY. Will give you a price for the holster. Shipping to your FFL will be $30. Must be 21 yrs old. $645 for the gun only. NEED TO SELL.
