The Franchi Affinity series of shotguns is popular for its mid-level price point, lightweight, and Italian craftsmanship. Franchi—a Benelli- and Beretta-owned company—has long been a reputable name in sporting shotguns, with the Affinity being their most recent main line of automatic gas-operated shotguns. This Affinity 3 shotgun is chambered in 12 gauge and can accept up to 3" shells. The barrel measures 28" long and has a vented checkered rib with red fiber optic front sight. The receiver is also drilled and tapped to accept optic mounts. This shotgun has an improved cylinder choke installed and is compatible with other Beretta/Benelli Mobil choke tubes. This shotgun also has been installed with a tube magazine extension which should increase the capacity to a maximum of 10 2 ¾" shells for certain fowl seasons, competition shooting, or just fun on the shooting range. This Franchi Affinity 3 is coated in Gore Optifade Marsh camouflage all the way around, but the finish has faded in many areas, showing its age and usage. The gun also has a larger bolt release button, indicating it is a slightly older Affinity model. The synthetic furniture has checkering on the pistol grip and forend and is in perfect condition, aside from finish wear. Of note—the installed improved cylinder choke is *very* stuck in the barrel of this shotgun. The barrel otherwise is in very good condition and the rib is undamaged.
