An Early & Very Desirable U.S. Civil War Colt Percussion Model 1860 Fluted Army Revolver In Excellent Untouched Condition. Early serial #3,740, with all matching numbers throughout. Made in 1861, all original and complete. This very early Colt Army has excellent metal, markings & edges throughout. The barrel on the revolver retains most of its original  factory blue on it. The cylinder retains a mix of original blue mixing with a natural plum patina throughout it. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all retain most of their original factory case colors on them. The backstrap has a mix of darkening blue and a natural darkening patina on it. The trigger guard retains most of its original silver on it. All the screws in the revolver are excellent and retain their original blue on them. The original early wood grips are excellent and retain their original factory varnish on them. The action is excellent & tight in the revolver. A Colt Fluted Army is Very Difficult to Find Like This. This Early & Very Desirable High Condition Example Of A  U.S. Civil War Colt Percussion Model 1860 Fluted Army Revolver Is A Wonderful Example And Would Look Fantastic In Any Colt Or Civil War Collection!
