For sale are a matching numbered set of First Blood Rambo Knives.
About the knives:
In the book, James B. Lile The Arkansas Knifesmith, Knifemaker to the World, it explains that Jimmy Lile originally made 13 of the First Blood knives, as 13 was his lucky number. He gave #1-#6 to Sylvester Stallone for the movie. He sold #7- #12, keeping #13 for himself. Due to the popularity of the movie, the requests for RAMBO knives was huge. To keep these knives as a collectible, Lile decided to make up to #100. Knives numbered 14 through 100 all have just the number & LILE on the blade. The word "of" was dropped.

The Mission
This Rambo First Blood Knife from Jimmy Lile features a two tone 10" blade with 14 Sawteeth and hidden tang construction. The hollow handle has a stainless steel double guard with Flat and Phillips head screw drivers, hollow cord wrapped handle, and aluminum removable butt cap with compass and an O-ring to make it water-proof. Comes with black leather sheath, by Johnson Sheathery that has a honing stone. The knife is in mint condition. This knife is part of a limited run of 100 made by Jimmy Lile.
The companion slipjoint features a satin finished drop point blade with a single nail nick. The handle features an aluminum frame over a steel backspacer. A beautiful combo.

The two-tone blade measures 9" with 12 Sawteeth and hidden tang construction. The hollow handle has a stainless steel double guard with Flat and Phillips head screw drivers, hollow cord wrapped handle, and aluminum removable butt cap with compass and an O-ring to make it water-proof. This knife comes with a Brown Leather Sheath by Jim Buffaloe.
The Dagger-
This knife is marked Lile 065 and reverse is marked RAMBO The Mission. The two tone blade measures approximately 5-5/8".
This set, #65, is an incredible find for the Lile Collector. We know collectors who have two of the Knives but different serial numbers. This set of the 3 knives, sheaths, and the Lile Gent Folder, AND Letters, is a collectors dream.
