Description:
This an Allen & Thurber 32 caliber pepperbox with 4” barrels and 1845 Patent date. The barrel is marked Allen & Thurber and Worcester. Only traces of blue remain and all markings are sharp and clear. This is serial number 43 and is marked on both grips and the frame. These were popular with Civil War soldiers as they discovered the quickest reload was another gun and this one had 6 shots.
