The Super Redhawk is primarily made for hunting. No way around it, this is a "big iron" revolver. That works for recoil management as does the soft handle grips. It is in very good condition overall, but the cylinder face is discolored with firing residue. The bore is great, and it locks up tight. This would be a great choice for hunting, as well as a camp defense pistol, or farmyard pest controller. .44 Magnum
