This is serial number 1334 with early type 3 Watervliet scabbard that has the shorter hook/hasp and the dark chocolate color. Secure fit with knife and scabbard. The knife has an excellent condition blade with very little age staining. No nicks or chips. Appears to be factory sharpening on blade edge. Perfect oak handle. Scabbard shows a few small wear marks which should be expected. Stitching and leather are in great shape. Nice ageing on scabbard brass. Solid knife with a good feel. See pictures.
