Turn of the Century .32 S&W Conceal & Carry Revolver
Here we present a C&R Smith & Wesson Double Action Top Break Revolver in .32 S&W, made circa the turn of the Century in Springfield, Massachusetts. This 4th model revolver was made between 1883 and 1909 with a total of roughly 240,000 revolvers made. The fourth model ran from serial number 43,406 and continued to about 282,999.
This would have been a nice gun to wear in a small belt holster or slip into a pocket for self-defense. Smith & Wesson, then as now, were known for their high-quality revolvers.
The overall condition is fine. Original nickel, blue, and case color finishes. The action is excellent. The numbers match. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The trademarked grips are solid. A handsome little personal defense weapon from the early-20th Century!
