Up for sale is this absolutely beautiful pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Super Grade in .243! This gun is in excellent condition for it‚s age. The barreled action is almost immaculate, there is one little nick on the barrel about an half an inch back from the muzzle. The bolt handle also has some bluing worn off from light use. The stock is in excellent condition with just a few small scratches in a few spots from normal use, nothing deeper than the finish. The checkering is still very sharp, and the action runs perfectly. From what we know, there were only about 260 of this configuration ever manufactured. Making this an extremely rare and highly collectable rifle. Everything on it is true to its form of a Featherweight Super Grade, and you won‚t want to miss this opportunity! The gun will come as pictured. We purchased this rifle from a larger collection, and it is the gem of the whole bunch! Truly a very unique and wonderful rifle!
