Description:
This Aluminum Mk9 Silencer Outer Tube was manufactured by AWC in 1986.
My understanding is Lynn McWilliams, President of AWC, manufactured and NFA registered these silencer tubes in 1986 fearing the Huges Amendment may be expanded to stop the future manufacture of silencers. At some point AWC decided the tubes were no longer needed and sold them to LMO (Long Mountain Outfitters).
The tube is 2" in diameter and listed in the NFA Registry with the following specs:

The caliber engraved on the tube is 9mm/45. The ATF only lists one caliber/size on the NFA registration.
The tube is considered a silencer part and is NFA registered and must be transferred on an ATF eForms Form 3 to an FFL/SOT.
