Offered here is an L.C. Smith Field Grade side-by-side, manufactured by Hunter Arms Co. in Fulton, New York. Serial number 219878 places production circa 1910. This example features 30" barrels, 2¾" chambers, and fixed chokes, with a restocked butt showing attractive fleur-de-lis style checkering not standard on Field Grade guns of the period.
