Description:
This is an early classic 12 Gauge Fox Sterlingworth, #67xxx, made circa 1914…The 30" barrels are choked mod and full. 2 ¾" chambers with fine bores…14" length of pull with drops of 1 ¾ and 2 ¾"…Weighs 7 pounds, 9 ounces…Most of the barrel blue is still there…Case Colors have faded away…Varnish added to wood, long ago. Checkering is worn, but serviceable…There is an old wood repair at left side of stock head. A reinforcing pin has been added to the stock head…This old gun has seen some use, but not abuse…Still tight and in very good shooting condition…Some say, if you could have only one doublegun, then a 12 gauge Fox is the one…
