Description:
Mauser Standard-Modell short rifle in 8x57 with a 23.62" barrel. Bore exhibits light frosting with strong rifling. It is all original and complete except for missing locking screws on the floorplate. It is an all matching numbers gun with commercial BUG proofs.
Production of this model began in 1933 for export, use by German security guards, and for paramilitary groups such as the SA and SS. Increasingly hard to find and especially with matching numbers.
