This rifle comes to us as a consignment sale and the owner is moving to a very non-gun-friendly location . . . even for bolt action rifles. His loss may be your gain. This Sig Sauer Cross in 308 Win (serial #: 70F001398) looks brand new to us.
The 16 inch barrel is threaded for your choice of a suppressor muzzle brake and has a 1:10 twist. The trigger is a 2 stage match adjustable trigger (2.5 – 4 lbs) and feels absolutely fantastic. The safety is ambidextrous, making it each to reach for both left and right handed shooters. A free floating M-LOK handguard allows you to attach the accessories of your choice.
The folding precision stock is adjustable for length of pull and has an adjustable cheek riser.
In our examination of the rifle, we’re not sure that it’s been fired. The bolt face looks factory new and the bore and barrel are both minty. The bolt cycles easily and, as we mentioned above, the trigger is fantastic. The finish on the rifle is Near Mint and the thread protector on the threaded barrel removes easily.
Already mounted on the rifle is an Athlon Midas HMR 2.5-15x50 scope with an illuminated reticle. There was no battery installed when it came in so we’ve added one and the illumination is both bright and adjustable. Windage and elevation turrets are capped and each click is 0.25MOA. Focus is on the side. The glass is clear, the controls work properly and the magnification adjustment moves easily and correctly. Exterior condition of the scope is excellent as well and the photos will show that.
If you’ve priced the Athlon Midas scopes before, you already know that they are not low-end optics. They’re very nice and priced accordingly. You’ve got a Like New package here with both the rifle and the scope and we don’t think that you’ll be disappointed at all with this one.

This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test fired this rifle. We have performed our function checks and find no issues to report.
