Up for sale is a solid and attractive Yugo M48 bolt-action Mauser chambered in 8mm Mauser (8x57) – an iconic military surplus rifle with classic Mauser features and tight Yugoslavian craftsmanship. This rifle is in overall excellent surplus condition, showing matching serials on the receiver and stock (W01952 / 01952), and retains a sharp appearance throughout. ???? M48 History, Not to Be Confused with M48A or M48B This is the original M48, not a later variant — built in the post-WWII years by Zastava for the Yugoslav People's Army. It was manufactured using original Mauser tooling and mimics the K98k profile while being just slightly shorter. If you’re collecting Cold War-era pieces or want a reliable shooter with historical backbone, this is a standout choice. ??
