Description:
Savage Model 1914 Rifle in .22 S, L, LR caliber. Very nice bore and has a desirable Lyman Tang Sight ($200 value). 24" octagon barrel with great markings. Utica Barrel address. Barrel and magazine tube retain 70-75% original blue. Receiver retains at least 85% of its original blue. Action functions nicely. Forend and buttstock are in good condition. Forend has a tiny crack and buttstock has two tiny cracks coming off the lower tang, they do not affect the functionality of the rifle (see pics). Correct Savage Buttplate. This gun could benefit from a good cleaning and I think it would look a lot better then it looks in its current condition. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. Rare gun, this model was not produced in great numbers or for a lot of years. Way above average condition, most examples are brown with worn out bores. Please feel free to ask questions.
