Description:
It's time to let go of another great M1 Carbine from my collection. This is INLAND serial #165109 in Factory Correct configuration. The barrel is Inland 1-43 with a bright and shiny bore. It is in a light colored Walnut Heartwood  Inland I-cut Highwood stock made by Overton. There are no cracks or repairs that I find, only a small chip by the recoil plate. The highwood is intact and the handguard is a Type 2 two rivet with a deep, wide sight groove. There is a small chip by the right rivet. The sling well is marked I0 and a flaming bomb. The flip sight is marked S~.  Trigger housing is Inland T2 with all correct Inland parts including an HI marked T2 Dogleg Hammer, T1 serrated safety, T2A Mag Catch, T1 sear and a proper 22 coil hammer spring. Slide is Inland T2 marked PI in a circle and has the arc cut  on the rear. Barrel Band is T1 narrow 3 weld band with a UI swivel.  Front sight is sideways N to look like Z. This is a fine collectable Early Inland M1 Carbine that will make a great addition to any collection.
